Our girls had a big scare game 1 of the tournament when our pitcher took a line drive off the forehead (no mask on) ambulance came and she was rushed to the hospital, she had a fractured eyebrow/skull. The girls had to gather themselves and keep playing with only 9 girl's the rest of the tournament, they said they were going to win it for Milani #23 and they did! Our girls came together as a team and leaned on each other for the support and drive they need to continue after witnessing a really scary situation and being very concerned for their teammate. That's huge for 10yr olds to process and accomplish.

**Good News:  our pitcher is okay. She was cleared by specialists no surgery is needed and her vision wasn't effected. She stayed in the hospital over night they had to wait for swelling to go down to make sure that surgery wasn't needed. 

Very proud of our girls this weekend.
